賀！本系特聘教授林道通老師於今年10月8日在義大利巴里榮獲2019 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics(SMC 2019)國際研討會最佳論文獎Best Paper Award.
國際電子電機工程學會(IEEE)的 International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics乃為現今全球電腦科學領域在自動化與智慧計算極為重要的國際會議。林道通教授以「Improving Deep Learning by Incorporating Semi-automatic Moving Object Annotation and Filtering for Vision-based Vehicle Detection」為題的論文，在來自世界38國1211篇論文中，脫穎而出，入圍決賽。決賽入圍的論文合計六篇，有來自美國、台灣、日本、英國、巴西、大陸等專家。經評審委員會再度舉行公開發表演說與答辯後，林道通教授獲評審委員ㄧ致肯定，並於大會晚宴頒佈最佳論文獎
